Die Baltimore Ravens begannen ihre Geschichte in Cleveland unter dem Namen Cleveland Browns. Im Jahr 1995 gab der damalige Besitzer bekannt, zur nächsten Saison nach Baltimore umzuziehen. Den Namen des neuen Vereins durften sich die Fans bei einer Telefonumfrage aussuchen. Zur Auswahl standen Ravens, Americans und Marauders. Letztendlich entschied sich die Mehrheit für die Ravens. Die Ravens wurden bis heute 2 mal Conference und 2 mal Super-Bowl Sieger. (2000, 2012).
